Jessica Madar is the co-founder and owner of Bird’s-Eye View SMMA, based out of Cochrane, AB. Her roots are in Saskatchewan but she has always felt drawn to the Alberta Rocky Mountains. As the company’s very own wordsmith and artist, she pulls together fantastic combinations of appeal and wit. This woman is a force to be reckoned with as her energy and determination permeates anything in its path.

Jessica has immersed herself in all things creative over the course of her life, some of which includes commissioned artwork, showing at art exhibits, and competing in poetry and short story writing. Communication in all formats – be it verbal, visual, or written – has always been second nature for her. 

An entrepreneur at heart, Jessica has started, and successfully maintained, multiple proprietorships over the years. She’s run her own art and face-painting business, launched her own pet grooming and boarding salon, and most recently operates a private day home. Her mastery in cultivating relationships with people has been invaluable in her ability to help hundreds of clients. Every one of her company’s used facebook as its prime form of communication and client acquisition.

Before embarking on her own business journeys, Jessica experienced many employment roles, both mentally and physically taxing, such as a customer service rep in a cafe & book store, hired-hand at a horse boarding facility, receptionist and kennel tech in a fast-paced, high-stress emergency vet clinic, K9 Wrangler at a doggy daycare, and an early childhood educator. 

Jessica doesn’t shy away from hard work in both her professional and personal life. She embraces her role as Mom to three beautiful, challenging, and inspiring little humans, as well as taking care of what feels like a small zoo with their variety of household pets.
